About the Team / Product at Justworks The Justworks Product team advances our mission by building products that extend levels of personal care and deep expertise that our customers have never experienced before. They craft innovative solutions that guide users through the most complicated challenges of running (and working for) a small business, with ease. They deeply understand complex regulatory spaces like FinTech, Healthcare, and HRTech, and have a keen intuition for how to connect threads across our customers’ needs and our business’ risk management and commercialization strategy. By joining us, you’ll be part of an experienced team of Product Managers who have a proven track record of building large-scale software products that impact small businesses worldwide. We’re looking for teammates who will help shape Justworks’ future and make a profound impact on our business. As a Product Manager, you’ll be working across complex spaces (Fintech, Healthcare, HR Tech - all with serious policy/regulatory environments). That will require you to have a keen intuition for customer needs, risk management, and commercialization. Care is at the center of everything we do, and you’ll need to love talking with customers and engaging with our Customer Success, Sales and Marketing teams to make sure that care is coming through in every part of our customers’ experience. About the Role / What You’ll Work On The Time and Product Foundations domain owns the infrastructure and experiences that make Justworks' core product work as one system, regardless of how or where an admin completes their job. Within this domain, the Product Foundations mission builds the horizontal layers that other domains depend on: unified communications, analytics and reporting intelligence, core product surfaces, and our member facing mobile experience. We succeed when every other team at Justworks ships faster, their customers complete jobs from wherever they already are (web, mobile, Slack, or embedded workflows), and our platform compounds rather than fragments as the product grows. The Reporting & Analytics (RNA) pod sits within the Product Foundations & Time domain. It stewards how Justworks customers and partners access, query, and act on company data. You'll own the roadmap for how structured data becomes useful to admins and partners, whether they're pulling a payroll report, asking a natural language question, or consuming insights via web, MCP, or Slack. You'll work directly with back-end engineers on data modeling, query performance, and API design, and with front-end and design on how information is structured, surfaced, and made trustworthy. You'll operate independently, ground your decisions in customer problems, and track relentlessly against goals. You'll partner daily with engineering on data architecture and query design, with operations and CSO on report requirements, and with cross-domain PMs (Workforce Pay, Benefits, International, Partnerships) on shared data surfaces. You'll focus on scoping and prioritizing new initiatives with research-backed case development and work through the complete product development lifecycle to successful delivery. Because Product Foundations is a horizontal team by nature, you'll regularly contribute beyond your team's scope by partnering with adjacent domains to define contracts and boundaries, facilitating adoption of shared infrastructure, and developing systems and processes that benefit our larger technology organization.
