You will be part of our newly created specialized Fraud team, focusing on safeguarding Qonto's French market customers from scams and fraudulent activities. You will report to Anamaria https://www.linkedin.com/in/anamariacodorean-termure-66a935120, our Senior Team Lead Fraud ➡️ What you'll do - Transaction monitoring: Monitor and analyze transactions to detect fraud patterns, focusing on scams, phishing attempts, and account takeover activities - Risk assessment: Conduct risk assessments for new products and features while ensuring robust onboarding fraud prevention with limited need for oversight - Investigation and prevention: Independently investigate complex fraud cases and implement preventive measures across financing and payment products - Project ownership: Own medium-scale projects end-to-end, aligned with team objectives set by your Lead - Coaching: Support junior analysts and new joiners on complex cases as needed - Cross-team collaboration: Work with Risk and Security teams to strengthen fraud detection capabilities and align strategies - Quality and efficiency: Deliver high-quality, timely fraud analysis while maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency ➡️ What we're looking for - Fraud/AML experience: Solid experience in fraud detection or AML, with demonstrated ability to independently handle complex cases - Languages: Bilingual in English and French: Portuguese is a nice to have - Investigative mindset: Strong evidence-based and creative thinking skills to detect patterns and solve complex fraud cases - Communication skills: Confident communicating with customers and counterparties, including in sensitive situations - Coaching ability: Comfortable supporting junior analysts or new joiners on casework when needed - Learning mindset: Open to feedback and motivated to keep sharpening skills and knowledge ➡️ What we can offer you - Established, specialized team: Join a mature Fraud team with defined levels, documented processes, and real operating rhythms. - Real ownership: Full ownership of your caseload and end-to-end ownership of medium-scale projects. - Breadth of casework: Handle the full range of fraud typologies, from private scams to social engineering fraud and financing-product fraud - Process ownership: Help build fraud detection processes and tools from the ground up as the team scales - Continuous learning: Regular training and knowledge-sharing sessions to keep pace with emerging fraud trends ➡️ Your future manager Your manager will be Anamaria https://www.linkedin.com/in/anamariacodorean-termure-66a935120, our Senior Team Lead Fraud.
