The Market Development Executive plays a crucial role in developing and expanding our Agent Network and increases transaction volumes by identifying, recruiting, and managing agents operating in high-potential remittance corridors. This position requires a sharp business acumen, strong networking skills, and the ability to translate market opportunities into measurable growth. What you’ll do: • Identify and sign new agents with proven potential in high-priority remittance corridors. • Conduct market research to understand customer behaviors, remittance flows, and corridor dynamics within the independent retailers’ network. • Build a strong pipeline of qualified agents to support strategic corridor growth. • Negotiate and close deals with agents focused on increasing the overall volumes. • Oversee onboarding, ensuring agents meet compliance, operational, and quality standards and perform the necessary corrections to ensure time to market is minimized. • Train agents on company products, systems, and customer service best practices. • Monitor agent performance, providing regular feedback and tailored support. • Develop strategies to boost transaction volumes through agent engagement and corridor-focused initiatives. • Implement promotional campaigns and incentives to drive transaction growth in targeted corridors. • Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to maximize loyalty and productivity. • Act as the primary point of contact for corridor-related opportunities and challenges. • Collaborate with compliance, operations, and marketing teams to ensure agent success. What we’re looking for: Education and Experience: • BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience. • Proven experience in business development, sales or agent acquisition (preferably in money transfer, fintech, or financial services). Essential skills: • Strong understanding of remittance markets and outbound corridors from the UK. • Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills. • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyses performance metrics and identify opportunities. • Highly motivated, self-starter, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment. • Strong communication skills (verbal and written). • Fluent/bilingual communication skills, preferred. • Ability to travel as required for corridor and agent acquisition activities. Performance Metrics: • Growth in transaction volume and or revenue from targeted corridors.
