Get to Know the Team GrabFin is the financial services arm of Grab, dedicated to building inclusive financial products across Southeast Asia. Our local Merchant Lending team focuses on empowering Grab Merchant-Partners's growth by providing accessible financing by Grab's Easy Loans. We are a vibrant, target-driven Sales and Commercial team dedicated to driving borrower acquisition and to help grow our Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Merchant-Partners. Get to Know the Role You will report to the manager of Merchant Lending. You will directly involve yourself in growing our Merchant Lending business. You will work with Account Managers and Sales teams to identify and prospect leads, and support deal closing efforts. This offers hands-on experience in financial sales and client relationship management in the FinTech sector. This full-time internship will be fully on-site starting from January 2027. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform You will identify, prospect and qualify potential merchant leads for GrabFin's lending products. You will support end-to-end sales cycle management and borrower acquisition efforts. You will engage Grab Merchant-Partners to pitch loan products, discover ecosystem cross-pitch opportunities, and close deals. You will liaise with Merchant-Partners and other teams (e.g. Credit Risk) for onboarding, documentation and disbursal. You will support the pipeline and CRM reporting, and assist with Sales strategy and analytics review projects. What Essential Skills You Will Need Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. Clear communication style, presenting relevant solutions to High comfort level with cold outreach, merchant prospecting, and handling sales objections. Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume sales funnel and track lead statuses accurately. Proactive, target-driven attitude with a keen interest in SME financing and fintech lending solutions.
