**Staff Software Engineer (Institutional, FCM) at Coinbase in Remote - USA, United States** **What you'll do** - Own design and architecture across the FCM core, from market data through settlement - Drive next-gen replatforming and reduce legacy vendor dependencies - Set technical standards through code, design reviews, and standards - Partner across teams to deliver correct, auditable systems - Mentor engineers and elevate code quality and architectural rigor **What they're looking for** - 8+ years of backend engineering experience with complex distributed systems - Direct FCM or derivatives experience with ownership of futures trade lifecycle - Deep proficiency in modern backend language (Go preferred) - Experience in regulated financial environment **Details** - Location: Remote - USA - Type: Full-time - Salary: null
